Overnight Oats with Fresh Fruit

rolled oats
not instant

cup
unsweetened almond milk
or any plant-based milk

chia seeds
optional, for extra nutrition

cinnamon

fresh fruit
e.g., berries, sliced bananas, or diced apples

nuts or seeds
optional, for topping
Instructions
In a mason jar or container, combine rolled oats, almond milk, chia seeds, and cinnamon. Stir well.
Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least 6-8 hours) to allow the oats to absorb the liquid.
In the morning, stir again and top with fresh fruit and nuts or seeds.
Serve chilled or at room temperature and enjoy!
