Ingredients
  

Crust

  • 1 sheet store-bought pie crust thawed if frozen

Filling

  • 3 apples peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp butter cut into small cubes
  • 1 egg beaten for egg wash

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the pie crust on the prepared baking sheet.
  • In a bowl, mix sliced apples with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Arrange the apple mixture in the center of the dough, leaving a 2-inch border.
  • Dot apples with butter cubes. Fold the edges of the dough over the apples, pleating as needed.
  • Brush the crust with egg wash. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.

Notes
