Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe avocados halved, pitted, and scooped
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1/4 cup onion finely diced (red, white, or green onion)
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste

Instructions
 

  • Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  • Mash the avocado with a fork or potato masher until you reach your desired consistency (chunky or smooth).
  • Add the finely diced onion, fresh lime juice, and salt.
  • Mix everything gently until well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  • Serve immediately with tortilla chips, tacos, or as a spread on toast.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding diced tomatoes, jalapeƱos, cilantro, or a pinch of cumin. To store, press plastic wrap directly onto the guacamole to prevent browning and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
