Black Tea Shot Ingredients

  • 1 oz Jameson Irish Whiskey or lemonade for a mocktail
  • 1 oz peach schnapps
  • 1 oz sour mix
  • 0.5 oz strong-brewed black tea chilled
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon wedge optional garnish
  • Cinnamon stick optional garnish

Instructions
 

  • Brew strong black tea ahead of time and refrigerate until chilled.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine Jameson Irish Whiskey (or lemonade for mocktail), peach schnapps, sour mix, and chilled black tea.
  • Add ice cubes to the shaker and shake vigorously until well mixed and chilled.
  • Strain the mixture into shot glasses.
  • Garnish with a lemon wedge and a cinnamon stick, if desired.

Notes

For a kid-friendly version, replace the whiskey with lemonade and add a splash of peach juice. To serve a larger group, multiply the recipe and serve in a vintage teapot for a whimsical presentation. Pairs well with cheddar herb scones for a sweet-and-savory combination.
