Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • 3 cups mixed nuts such as almonds, pecans, and peanuts
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp sea salt optional, for taste

Instructions
 

  • Lightly toast the nuts in a dry skillet for a few minutes until fragrant. Set aside.
  • Prepare your slow cooker by spraying it lightly with non-stick spray or lining it with parchment paper.
  • Place the toasted nuts in the slow cooker.
  • Add the semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips on top of the nuts.
  • Set the slow cooker to low and cook for 1.5 to 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  • Add the vanilla extract and sea salt, stirring well to combine.
  • Using a spoon, scoop small clusters of the chocolate-covered nuts onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Allow to cool at room temperature or place in the refrigerator for faster setting.

Notes

For variations, try adding dried cranberries, coconut flakes, or a dash of cinnamon for extra flavor.
